Speaker Bio:

With over 20 years in brand management, Beth Owens is a results-oriented marketing and sales professional skilled in developing both regional and national campaigns. As a result of her strengths in customer relations and business development, she plans and executes effective marketing and sales strategies that revs up revenue and activates participation for a variety of BrandEra, Inc. clients. Owens’ professional experience includes branding, strategic planning and developing marketing initiatives for manufacturing, retail, and service industries.

Joining forces with partner, Reecanne Joeckel, in January 2004, Owens and Joeckel created a marketing/PR boutique agency located in Fort Worth, Texas, to serve clients ranging from manufacturing to municipalities, luxury goods to real estate firms. Through promotions, collateral, direct mail, radio, TV, web campaigns and public relations, BrandEra works with clients from coast to coast.

Prior to forming BrandEra, Inc., Owens served as Director of Marketing and then Vice President of Marketing & Sales of American IronHorse Motorcycle Company. As one of the company’s original managers, she helped shape American IronHorse’s high-end motorcycle brand in the industry, managed the dealer sales and development process, established a national customer loyalty program, and forged cooperative partnerships.

Her professional expertise also includes extensive international marketing and sales. She managed all the international sales efforts for a Fort Worth-based exporter of industrial diesel engines and heavy duty generator sets.

Owens has also devoted her time to a number of educational and philanthropic causes. She is a youth mentor and community volunteer. Owens served on the DePauw University Board of Trustees, Alumni Board, and the Advisory Board for the McDermond Center for Management and Entrepreneurship and volunteers on the Visitors Board. Additionally she has been a mentor for the DePauw Management Fellows interns for more than a decade. Owens also teaches business and marketing courses as an adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University. She is the founding chair of the Women’s Alliance of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, volunteers on the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation marketing committee and is a member of the Women’s Business Council – Southwest. Owens served on the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee and is currently chairing the annual fundraiser for Arlington Urban Ministries for a second year. Owens is a director on the AISD Education Foundation and a community advisor to Junior League of Arlington. She is frequently a guest lecturer on branding, marketing and communications at universities, professional associations and annual meetings.

Owens received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from DePauw University and a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. She and her husband, Joe, and son, Grant, live in Arlington, Texas.
