Phillip Rogers, Marketing and Enterprise Development Coordinator, previously served as Sales, Membership and Marketing Manager for the nationally recognized OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla. With the club, Rogers managed all advertising, marketing and membership initiatives. During his tenure, the club recorded a 46% increase in membership, a 64% increase in social media subscribers and a record number of web site visits. Rogers also served as golf club liaison to the OU President’s Associates, which provided annual unrestricted funding of $5M+ to the University. Rogers spent four years in the OU Athletics Communications Department, receiving 11 awards from the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for the design of media guides and team posters, including five Best in Nation honors. Prior to his current role, Rogers founded Clubhouse Marketing Group – specializing in graphic design, website development and social media management for golf courses across the country.
Rogers manages the marketing and business development initiatives for the golf and tennis divisions of the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department. Rogers is also the chief designer for all APRD publcations, including the Summer Day Camp Guide, Summer Aquatics Guide, and the Naturally Funtimes Magazine.
An avid golfer and native of Enid, Okla., Rogers earned a bachelor’s in Journalism (PR) and a master’s in Athletics Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Rogers and his wife Kate reside in Dallas.
