As Program and Marketing Manager for the NC Recreation and Park Association(NCRPA), Matt manages programs, marketing, & communication initiatives for NCRPA. Matt has worked to increase the agency's digital and social media profile, streamline communication and enhance the content of the NCRPA's messaging. He has also worked to coordinate various campaigns to help tell the stories of parks and recreation in NC. Matt started his career as a media planner with MediaVest, working on Walmart & Kraft campaigns. Matt has spoken at various events training his peers on effective ways to use “digital” media to engage their communities. In addition, he has worked with non-profits, start-ups, and park groups to help them create and implement marketing and digital strategies. Matt graduated with a B.S. from Sacred Heart University, obtained a Certificate in Social Media Management from NCSU, and is currently pursuing a PRTM Graduate Degree at NCSU and has his CPRP.
